YMCA camp Facilities

YMCA Camp Potawotami has large athletic fields for soccer, softball and other field sports, basketball courts, Gaga Pits, a large waterfront activity area, a sand volleyball court, archery and riflery ranges, low and high ropes courses and an outdoor climbing wall. Campers live in cabins that are clean and well maintained, with screened windows, built-in bunks and electricity, flush toilets and showers (Teen Adventure Camp and Leaders-in-Training stay in seasonal cabins amenities are nearby in a central bathhouse). Everything is provided to make campers comfortable and happy in a beautiful, scenic setting.

  • YMCA Camp Potawatomi sits along the banks of Blackman Lake, perfect for swimming, canoeing, SCUBA, fishing and more!

  • Cabin life is a great way to get to know others and make lifelong friends! each cabin comes with the essentials, including a live-in counselor. Campers can also live in our Voyager or Sharples Lodges.

  • Our food service staff is prepared to serve you healthy, tasty delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Enjoy family-style dining in our lakefront dining hall at Arrowhead Lodge.

  • Each week during Summer Camp, we have a Registered Nurse available to provide our campers with excellent medical care and attention, CPR, first aid and round-the-clock supervision.

  • At Camp Potawotami, we believe that the connection between spirit, mind and body is important. In our open air chapel, explore in an atmosphere built on caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith.
